Triggers/Fears/Squicks: Bathroom stuff, maiming, sexual assault (though dubcon/sex pollen/etc are a-okay). For anything else, I'm cool with playing things by ear.
Character Motivation: He's admittedly "scared to the marrow" of actually for real dying, and doesn't want to see any of the rough handful of people he loves die either.

Name: Armand
Age: 500+, looks 17-18
Physical Appearance: 5'6", slender, shoulder-length auburn curls, brown eyes, "the face of a Botticelli-angel"
Point in Timeline: Post-Prince Lestat
World Description: Wiki Link - Vampire History
History/Background: Armand on the Vampire Chronicles wiki
Noteworthy Positive Characteristics:
Patient - Five hundred years and leading two sizeable covens has taught him a great deal of patience, for good or ill. He saw no issue with taking most of the eighties to amass a fortune and get a base operations set up… or spending over sixty-five years plotting vengeance on Lestat for breaking up his cult/coven under Les Innocents and then leaving him high and dry in Paris.
Loyal - To those few who earn it from him, he's absolutely steadfast and there's little he wouldn't do for them - from utterly devoting himself to Marius after he took him in, to planning to play benefactor to Sybelle and Benji for the rest of their natural lives. It can also backfire on him spectacularly, though, as exemplified by his remaining loyal to Santino’s cult long after Santino himself abandoned it.
Clever - He was always a quick study, picking up Greek and Italian within a couple of months of his arrival to Venice, and the change into a vampire only enhanced that by giving him both an eidetic memory and the ability to process information and make connections all the faster.
Noteworthy Negative Characteristics:
Impulsive - When he’s riled, all that patience tends to fly right out the window and he acts without real planning or even necessarily thinking. This leads him to do things like break down Marius’ bedroom door with an axe when Marius when Marius wasn’t speaking to him… or toss his own underlings into the pyre rather than let them leave after his cult was dissolved, or lop a child vampire’s head of and sew it onto an adult vampire’s body just to see if it would work.
Spiteful - This is flipside to the above-mentioned loyalty. If he's betrayed or rejected, or even just perceives himself to be, his retaliation tends brutal. The fallout of Interview is a great example of this: pushing Lestat off a tall-building after Lestat’s near-death experience in Interview, forcing him to testify against Claudia (which lead directly to her death), running off with Lestat’s beloved fledgling, and later dropping by once in a while strictly to kick the enfeebled and suffering Lestat while he was down.
Hard-headed - Once he's made up his mind about something, it's very difficult to get him to change it. See also: his early determination to stay with Marius and become what he was, and later his decade-long debate with one Daniel Molloy about whether or not he'd turn Daniel into a vampire.
Character Fears: The one he’ll admit to is that he’s scared to the marrow of dying for real. The one he absolutely will not admit to is being set aside/left behind by the people he loves.
Powers/Abilities:Super strength and speed, enhanced cognition, The Mind Gift (telepathy plus telekinesis plus empathy), the Spell Gift (ability to project illusions, hypnotize/compel others), the Fire Gift (pyrokinesis).
He’s said in Queen of the Damned to have a “power to seduce” that’s almost beyond his own control, but this seems to be more an extension of the Spell Gift than a power in its own right.
Notably, he developed the Spell Gift quite a bit earlier than is usual for his kind - possibly because Marius was so old and powerful by the time he turned Armand.
Personal Item: One hardbound sketchbook, pages roughly 8 1/2" x 11"

[The only thing visible in the shot at first is a pair of pale hands fussing with the camera. That lasts for a few moments before they fall away, revealing Armand's face as he inspects the camera (and whatever he's set it up on) critically, brow faintly furrowed.
He's... well, pretty, with the sort of face Botticelli might have painted, curly auburn hair, brown eyes, and skin that looks not unlike porcelain in the low light. And he looks young - eighteen if he's a day.
Satisfied, he offers the camera a brief smile, tucks a stray curl behind his ear then sits back, ankles crossed, fingers drumming idly on his thigh. The light dances over his many rings, creating a slightly dazzling effect.]
Good evening, fellow volunteers. [His voice is warm, caressive, colored faintly by an accent that might be Greek, might be Italian. It's difficult to pin down.]
I gather a great deal has happened here these last few months. The staff on the ship weren't terribly certain of the details, so... would any of you care to tell me what you know? [ The tone is curious but not overly concerned, carefully modulated that way because he doesn't doubt for a moment Zenith Corporation monitors their communications.
So he'll do his damnedest to present himself as harmless and unassuming and simply trying to figure out just what he's gotten himself into. If his fellow volunteers believe it too... well, all the better.
He smiles again, sweet with the faintest sultry edge.] Or just come have a drink with me. I'll be satisfied either way. Ciao.
[And with that, he reaches forward to stop the recording. Maybe it's just the dim lighting, but the camera seemed to have an awfully hard time focusing as he moved...]
